Irving, TX (August 24, 2023) — Las Colinas Association and co-host AIA Dallas will host its first commercial architecture tour on September 22. The event is part of Las Colinas’ 50th anniversary celebration. The tour provides an insider’s look at six innovative, industry- and region-leading commercial buildings headquartered in Las Colinas, including a first-time look inside the former ExxonMobil Campus.

The tour also goes behind-the-scenes at Verizon, Toyota Music Factory, and along the Mandalay Canal, showing the evolution of architecture throughout Las Colinas’ history, how offices are evolving in the modern work environment, and how design trends will influence the next fifty years of Las Colinas development.Chuck McDaniel, SWA's Managing Principal and landscape architect who worked on the original design of Williams Square Plaza as well as its modern reimagining, and representatives from HKS, HOK, and Corgan will serve as expert tour guides.

The architecture tour beings at 8:30 a.m. and lasts until 5:30 p.m.  Check-in will begin at 8 a.m. that day. Featured stops include Verizon, Toyota Music Factory, Mandalay Canal, Pioneer Natural Resources, Williams Square, and ExxonMobil. Transportation is provided from parking at The Towers at Williams Square to tour locations. Access visitor parking at the East and West Garages at 5205 North O'Connor Boulevard Irving, TX 75039.

This exclusive motorcoach-guided tour celebrates Las Colinas’ 50th anniversary by opening six architecturally significant properties to the public. Sponsored by Irving Economic Development Partnership, HOK, HKS, KDC, Capital Commercial Investments, and Verizon.
